Summer has arrived and more and more competitions are starting. There are various types of events all over the country. Besides the most popular sports competitions, there are also cooking competitions, music events, etc. The competitions are not only fun, but the whole process is very exciting. Watching the game is also a great way to relieve stress and relax, and it can make you fully engaged in the game. So we’ve put together a list of contests that cover a wide range of genres for you. With locations and times included along with ticket information, this spectacular list can help you find an event that will interest you. Perhaps it can lead you to a new hobby.

Sports Competition

There will be many sporting events held during the year, and there is a lot of excitement that you can’t miss.

NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is something that many people are following. One of the biggest dates on the off-season calendar each year is the NFL Draft, where teams replenish their rosters with young talent. the 2022 draft will be held Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30, with three days divided into seven rounds. It can be broadcast on ESPN as well as the NFL Network if you want to watch it online. The three days start at 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. ET, and noon ET on Saturday.

This year’s draft will be in Las Vegas, with the draft experience and draft theater located behind the High Roller and The LINQ, next to Caesars Forum. Las Vegas was supposed to host the NFL Draft back in 2020, but it was postponed for two years due to the epidemic. If you want to be at the site, three venues are free to enter. They are the Bellagio Fountain, the Draft Theater next to the Caesars Forum, and the Draft Experience. Fans of all ages can get into the Draft Experience and Draft Theater areas for free. No tickets are required, but fans must download the NFL One Pass smartphone app. For an even better experience, packages are available the on-location which will include seats in the theater, food and beverage service, and more. Prices range from $750 to $1,250.

Chicago Marathon

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon, which will begin on October 9, averages 45,000 runners each year. There are two ways to take part in the race if you want to. The first is a guaranteed entry, and the other is a lottery. The first requires participants to raise no less than $1,250. And only official charities that are part of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Charities Program will receive guaranteed entries. Or participate in the International Parade Program, but this requires you to be responsible for the cost of travel. The entry fee for the marathon is $230. If you want to cheer on the participants, there are three cheering areas you can visit. These are the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle cheering area at the 8K marker in Lincoln Park, the Charity Block Party near Adams and Loomis Streets, and the finish line at Michigan Avenue and Roosevelt Road. For those who prefer to stay at home, the show can be viewed on NBC5 Chicago, TeleXitos.

For a marathon, a large tent would be perfect. It can create a space for the runners’ supply items and also provide a resting area. If any runner has any sudden situation, he can also come under the tent to remedy it first. It can also shield the spectators from UV rays, making it a very useful prop for the race.

Cooking Competition

No one can resist the temptation of good food, and these live cooking competitions will make people stay.

World Barbecue Competition

Lexington, North Carolina is known as the “Barbecue Capital of the World”. The city hosts an annual culinary extravaganza: the Lexington Barbecue Festival. This will be the 38th annual festival, and it was even named one of the “Top 10 Food Festivals in America” by Travel & Leisure magazine. There is no admission fee for this event, and there will be more than 200 vendors in the venue. Besides the barbecue, there will be entertainment stages and street performances. It’s a great event to attend. You can enjoy the food and watch various performances at the same time. The event will be held on October 22, starting at 8:30 am and ending at 6:00 pm.

Real California Pizza Contest

This will be the fourth annual California Pizza Contest, a competition to create innovative pizzas in three categories: Plant-Forward Pizza, The REAL California Pizza, and Cal-Mex Pizza. entrants will be asked to upload their recipes and a short essay about their inspiration by April 24. First place will receive a $10,000 grand prize and the winner of each category will receive $5,000. The contest will take place at the CIA Copia kitchen in Napa, California, and there will be three rounds of competition.

Music Festival

Hangout Music Festival is an annual three-day music festival held at a public beach on the Gulf Coast. This year it will run from May 20th to the 22nd and you can stay with friends at a hotel closer to the coast. The festival also offers a long-distance bus as a shuttle service, which runs continuously from 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday until 30 minutes after the last show in the evening. You can buy shuttle tickets and find out where to stop on the official website. Ticket prices will range from $339 to $1,219 for all three days. This year’s guest lineup includes HALSEY, Doja Cat, Post Malone, and more, so it’s still well worth attending.

After the festival, you can relax with your friends while lying on the beach. If you want to protect your skin from the sun, the canopy tent is a good choice. A pop-up canopy is not only a shade but also very easy to install and carry. Browsing through the above events, I believe you will be attracted to them. No matter what event you choose to attend, whether you go to the site or not, I hope you can have a good time!
